The Consultation Process

The initial office consultation prior to facial cosmetic procedure is an important part of the overall process. This is an opportunity for you to relay your wishes and goals, to have any questions or concerns addressed, and for us to get to know each other.

The consultation involves a thorough evaluation and a one-on-one discussion with me regarding your desires and goals. You may want to give this some careful consideration prior to meeting with me so that you can be as specific as possible. What is it that bothers you and what do you hope to achieve?

I will detail options available to you, surgical and/or non-surgical, and discuss my expectations, the possible techniques, the surgical facility, the anesthesia, any potential risks involved. We will obtain your photograph, and computerized digital imaging will be used to simulate the expected results. During the consultation, I will also take a thorough medical history and conduct a physical examination. All questions or concerns that you may have will also be addressed at this time.

If you are prepared to move forward, we will plan your procedure with our patient care coordinator and surgery scheduler. The consultation process can take up to one hour so please plan accordingly. I look forward to meeting you and working with you to help you achieve your goals.
